Speech language technician (SLT)

Connected 2 Therapy needs an SLT to join our team!

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications Disorders or the equivalent required

  • Available to travel to and serve multiple schools throughout the state

  • Flexible schedule that affords regular attendance at schools and meets school schedule needs

  • School experience preferred

  • USBE Associate or Professional SLT License preferred

    • Must become licensed while employed with C2T if not already licensed upon hire

    • Pay for licensed vs non-licensed varies

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • SLTs will work under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to:

    • Support instructional and therapeutic opportunities in the education setting under the supervision of the SLP

    • Deliver therapy according to the IEP, schedule and under the supervision of the SLP

    • Assist with informal and formal documentation (i.e., logs) as directed by the SLP

    • Collect data and document student performance and report to the supervising SLP

    • Assist the SLP with scheduling, record keeping, material preparation

    • Represent yourself as working under the SLP

    • Assist with speech, language, and hearing screenings, without interpretation.

    • Create your own schedule under the guidance of the school special education director and SLP

    • Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA laws

Physical Therapist

Connected 2 Therapy needs a PT to join our team!

Qualifications:

  • Valid PT license in Utah and a degree from an accredited program

  • Available to travel to and serve multiple schools throughout the state

  • Flexible schedule that affords regular attendance at schools and meets school schedule needs

  • Proven experience working with students in a school-based or similar setting preferred

  • Strong understanding of physical therapy techniques, modalities, and equipment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate individual students’ physical therapy needs

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance students’ physical abilities and support their educational goals

  • Conduct one-on-one or group therapy sessions in various school settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students’ daily routines

  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes

  • Provide education and training to students, parents, and staff on therapeutic techniques and interventions

  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations and standards

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive student support plans
